The college’s name derives from its location on Rue de Bois-de-Bologne, a street itself named after the renowned Bois de Boulogne forest in Paris. The college’s campus comprises two main buildings: the Saint-Paul Pavilion and the Ignace-Bourget Pavilion. The former housed the historic Saint-Paul College, while the latter served as the original site of the Ignace-Bourget Teacher Training School. This fusion of heritage buildings imbues the college with a unique cultural legacy and academic tradition.
After more than half a century of development, Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne now employs approximately 450 faculty and staff, serving nearly 3,500 full-time students and over 4,250 continuing education and corporate training participants. It has become a benchmark institution within Quebec’s CEGEP system.
