First, let us go back to 1967. That year, the predecessor of Canadore College was formally established as the North Bay campus of the Sudbury Cambrian College. In 1972, this young institution gained independent status and was formally renamed Canadore College of Applied Arts and Technology. In 1972, Canadore College began collaborative operations at the College Road campus alongside Nipissing University College, St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, and North Bay Teachers’ College. The three-year Advanced Diploma in Aviation Technology – Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics provides theoretical and practical training in engine systems, hydraulic systems, landing gear, and other critical components.
